What's the difference between ISTA+ and coding apps like Bimmercode?
ISTA+ is BMW's official dealer diagnostic tool. It can perform module programming, ISN synchronisation, online coding and software updates that apps simply cannot access. Apps are limited to basic parameter changes only.
Can you code a replacement module I've purchased?
Yes. We can program replacement modules (CAS, FEM, BDC, DME, EGS, headlights, etc.) with the correct FA/VO coding for your specific vehicle. The module must be compatible with your chassis.
Can you enable Apple CarPlay on my BMW?
Yes, on compatible vehicles. CarPlay can be activated via coding on many F and G-Series BMWs with the correct iDrive system. Some older vehicles may require a hardware retrofit. Contact us with your VIN for confirmation.
I've lost all my keys β can you help?
Yes. We can perform all-keys-lost key programming for most BMW models. This involves accessing the CAS, FEM or BDC module to program new keys. Proof of ownership is required.
Can you remove warning lights and fault codes?
We can clear fault codes after a repair has been completed. However, if the underlying fault still exists, codes will return. We offer full diagnostics to identify the root cause of any warnings.
Do you cover MINI as well as BMW?
Yes. MINI uses BMW platforms and diagnostic systems. We cover all MINI models from R50 through to the latest F-Series vehicles using the same ISTA+ equipment.
